    01 — The Brief

Several translucent segments of the clock face at Holy Trinity Church, Dartford, had broken and needed replacing without altering the appearance of the historic tower.

    02 — The Challenge

Every segment of the dial is a different shape, and the only safe working position is behind the face inside the tower — so templating, cutting and fixing all had to be planned around restricted internal access.

    03 — Our Response

We templated the damaged segments, had bespoke translucent acrylic sections produced to suit the existing pattern, and fitted them from inside the tower so the dial reads as one face from the street.

    04 — The Outcome

The clock face is whole again, with the replacement acrylic sections matching the existing segment layout when viewed from ground level.
