    01 — The Brief

The community centre needed better-performing windows and new entrance and exit doors, delivered in phases so the building could keep running.

    02 — The Challenge

The centre is in regular community use, so openings had to be removed, replaced and made weathertight within each working day.

    03 — Our Response

We replaced windows opening by opening with white uPVC acoustic-glazed units and installed new thermally broken aluminium entrance and exit door sets.

    04 — The Outcome

The completed phases have transformed the elevations and entrances. This is a phased programme; high-level winding gear was not part of the latest stage.
